Vehicles: Electric Hand-cart

In built-up areas, the mail is often delivered using an electric-powered cart, controlled by a “driver” walking alongside it. Similar vehicles can be used for delivering a stack of localnet boxes within walking distance of a LocalHub.

Security

Because all the boxes can lock onto each other or the frame of the cart, there is much less risk of casual theft from carts as they are being used.

Electric Power

As with the delivery vans, the power for the hand-cart can be provided by one or (occasionally) more BatteryBoxes loaded onto it as part of its payload. This means that carts do not have to sit idle while recharging as each time they are loaded, a replacement battery is provided as needed.
